Chi Kung translates as “Energy Work”:

Chi meaning Energy, Breath, Air, Nature’s Force; Kung meaning Work, Practice, Power.

Chi Kung is an internal martial art – an internal breathing art. It is a meditative art that combines physical exercise and mental focus, utilising movement and postures with specialised deep breathing techniques. Practising Chi Kung will raise your energetic vibration, as you do this you improve your physical health, lift and balance your emotions and clear your mind so that you think more positively.

Chi Kung is practiced to recapture and build up our universal essence – the Chi life force. The Chi brings new vitality to our internal organs by balancing the energies in the body. As the internal Chi is raised it attracts and cultivates positive external chi around us. As a result the whole energetic system and consequently the immune system is revitalised  producing strength and a feeling of well being. Regular Chi Kung practitioners rarely have to see a doctor as their bodies and minds are more balanced and brighter.

As a Chi Kung practitioner you will gradually raise your vibration and eventually become aware of your own Chi, Qi, Ki, Prana. This is achieved by breathing in a deep, smoothly controlled, internalised way. As the Chi becomes apparent the Chi Kung sequences help to energetically balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain and body this will help you to become balanced and supported in the different areas and aspects of your life.

Practicing Chi Kung will result in your perception of life and the world being greatly enhanced. You will learn how to cultivate and harness the forces of Heaven and earth, become attuned to nature and the elements and combine them with your own Chi life essence, energy and human spirit. Overall you will feel stronger, calmer and handle the challenges of the world more easily.
